4 Decades of Live Music.
Falling into the « Hard Rock » pot at the very beginning of the 80’s, but not having a musician soul, I turned to the sound recording at the end of the 80’s.
I very quickly participated as a sound engineer in studio recordings with groups from the Parisian scene. I accompanied some of which on the road for hundreds concerts as sound engineer : Les Sales Gosses (Rock), Frenchy But Soul (Rhythm ‘n blues / Soul), Dzeta II (Hard Rock), Ashran M Le Groove (Funk fusion), Tiken Jah Fakoly (Reggae). Since then, I have always worked in event technology industry.
Along years, the passion for photography grew up little by little, to take an important place in recent years. Passion that I prefer practise during live concerts of the music which fascinates me.
Those photos albums that I share with you are intended to make you feel the music through expressions, gestures, which I was able to freeze on pictures. Sometimes the choice and sorting of shots turns out to be a real heartbreak !
4 Décennies de Musique Live
Tombé dans la marmite « Hard Rock » au tout début des 80’s, mais n’ayant pas l’âme musicien, je me suis dirigé vers le métier du son à la fin des 80’s.
J’ai très vite participé en tant qu’ingénieur du son à de nombreux enregistrement studio avec des groupes issues de la scène parisienne, dont certains que j’ai accompagnés sur la route pour de très très nombreux concerts en tant qu’ingénieur du son attitré : Les Sales Gosses (Rock), Frenchy But Soul (Rythm ‘n blues / Soul), Dzeta II (Hard Rock), Ashran M Le Groove (Funk fusion), Tiken Jah Fakoly (Reggae). Depuis, je travaille toujours dans la technique événementielle en tant que responsable de bureau d’étude.
Parallèlement à ce parcours, la passion pour la photo s’est développée petit à petit, jusqu’à prendre une place importante ces dernières années. Passion que j’exerce de préférence lors de concerts de la musique qui me passionne.
Ces albums que je vous partage sont destinés à vous faire ressentir la musique à travers des expressions, des gestes, que j’ai pu figer d’abord sur pellicule à mes débuts, et sur SD Card maintenant. Parfois le choix et le tri des clichés s’avèrent un vrai crève-coeur !
